Willows (2 years-3 years)

Oaks (3 years-4 years)

Our Willows room provides a relaxed yet stimulating environment from the age of 2 years old. From September 2025, we will be accepting children from the age of 9 months old. Children have the opportunity to really explore their surroundings in a safe, warm and caring setting.

Our child-centred approach supports children to make choices in their play and we always plan a varied session with a range of both adult-led and child-initiated activities on offer.

We have the same staff in each session so you and your child/ren can be assured of continuity of care as well as familiar faces.

From September 2025, there will be a separate area for the under 2’s which will nurture their development providing a calm, safe and welcoming space whilst still being able to watch and learn from the older children playing nearby.

Should the children need to rest we have a dedicated cosy, sleeping area.

Our children thrive in a language rich environment full of stories, songs, talk and imaginative play.

The September following your child’s 3rd birthday they will move into the Oaks room.

In Oaks children are encouraged to get more actively involved in their learning and to make decisions. We develop their creative and critical thinking, balancing the need for children to learn about risks and safety with how to make good choices and how to stick to boundaries.

With school in mind, we work closely with parents to ensure a smooth transition in to primary school and the next chapter of their young lives.
